November Statistics

The time of year when holiday concerns have lessened the interest in real estate has arrived. As you can see, sales in November were less than half of October. But as you can also see homes are still being sold and listed as the real estate market is a true reflection of the lives we live. Things change and we adapt.


With interest rates continuing to be low, it's still a great time to buy and sell. Interest rates are expected to raise in 2022. It all depends on the Federal Reserve's

response to the pressure of inflation.


Notice too, the average listing price is lower than the previous 5 months. That may be because the listing price is more accurate to the sale price. I added the Withdrawn row this month to begin tracking. This shows that about 10% of the houses active in November were withdrawn. Varying reasons: the holidays, market cool-off, lack of offers, change in plans. 2021Guernsey County
